Food/Drink
- Bebo’s Cafe: San Juan, Puerto Rico. This restaurant has got to have the best mofongo you will ever have. It looks like the website needs some work on it, but don’t pass this one up if you’re in the area.
- Heladería de Lares: Lares, Puerto Rico. So this place doesn’t have a website of its own, but it’s in the middle of the town square and has been featured on the Travel channel’s Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. Very unique ice cream flavors including garlic, corn, acerola, rice and beans, and even beer.
- Hopper’s Pub: Waynesville, Missouri. The food is just bar food, but in addition to the regularly stocked brands, they’ve got 66 unique beers on tap, including Woodchuck Pear Cider which i LOVE.
- Tapatio Mexican Grill: Newcastle, Washington. This place has the best Mexican food I have eaten in my life. It’s hidden away in Newcastle, but the food is tender, juicy, savory, very flavorful, and the restaurant is always packed at dinnertime. My mouth waters at the thought…
